Sussex & Surrey Police – Developing Diverse Talent: Workshop 3

As our work with Sussex and Surrey Police continues, we enjoyed delivering Workshop 3 in our Developing Diverse Talent Programme.

Delegate feedback included “It was a blended well-presented workshop” and “I liked the way it went from theory to practical applications in the workplace” 


Objectives for the workshop included:

• Exploring values, strengths and leadership styles

• Building a personal brand

• Enhancing emotional intelligence

• Exploring leadership styles


We were delighted to be joined by Temporary Chief Superintendent Adam Hays of Sussex Police, who shared insight on his leadership journey with the delegates – and how his career path in the police has not been the ‘straight line’ police officers might imagine. The group listened intently and found his talk useful.


The day was a success, with the group bonding over practical team-building exercises, together with thoughtful discussion, humour, and personal experiences the delegates felt comfortable sharing with the group in a safe environment.
